DDI has very FEW items that are composed entirely of preserved or dried natural plant components, but MANY that employ MIXED faux components with preserved and dried natural plant materials to achieve specific styling, e.g: Country Casual, Tuscan, Lodge/Cabin, Seaside, Retro, etc. Preserved grasses, reeds, stalks, vines, and dried pods, mushrooms, and gourds not only impart realism to the floral, but also reduce the overall material cost because of the comparative high cost of imported faux components. That mix of faux and natural also makes it harder to distinguish high-quality, realistic faux components from the natural elements, so the overall floral appears more natural.
